Allison Siebecker ND, MSOM, LAc, is Instructor of Advanced Gastroenterology at NUNM, an award winning author, and the 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient from the GastroANP. She has specialized exclusively in SIBO since 2010, serving as a second and third opinion referral doctor for patients who have failed previous treatments. She is the creator of many staple SIBO treatments, including: Homemade Elemental Diet Recipes, Herbal Antibiotic SIBO protocols, and the SIBO Specific Food Guide.
Dr. Siebecker was the co-founder and former medical director of the SIBO Center at NUNM and co-founded the first ever SIBO conference - the NUNM SIBO Symposium, in 2014. She has been teaching physicians, medical students and patients internationally since 2010, with many going on to become SIBO specialists and teachers alongside her. Dr. Siebecker continues pioneering - her 2020 SIBO conference, Next Steps for Treating Tough SIBO, was the first conference focused exclusively on treatment for recalcitrant SIBO.
